Queensland Catholic school teachers who intend to apply for Highly Accomplished or Lead Teacher certification in 2026 must complete an online Notice of Intention to Apply in 2025. This will provide the necessary applicant information for planning purposes and communications with the Queensland College of Teachers as the Certifying Authority.

The QCT notifies applicants at the conclusion of each assessment stage. If successful at Stage 1 and progressing to Stage 2 Assessment, a Stage 2 fee of $650 to the QCT applies.

These unique sessions offer opportunities for Catholic school teachers aspiring to certification as Highly Accomplished and Lead Teachers in 2025 and beyond, to meet some of the Queensland Highly Accomplished and Lead Catholic teachers online.
Aspirants will be able to hear the individual stories of certified teachers, ask questions and gain tips for their own certification journey.
Highly Accomplished and Lead Teacher (HAT & LT) certification is available to eligible teachers in Queensland Catholic schools.
